Purpose of These Terms and Conditions.

The French Tax Advisor website is intended for English-speaking clients who need assistance with filing French tax returns and completing French administrative procedures.

These Terms and Conditions define the rules governing the use of the French Tax Advisor website and the support services provided to users for completing French tax declarations and administrative formalities.

Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions apply to the agreement entered into between French Tax Advisor and each new client. The client accepts these Terms and Conditions by signing the engagement letter once completed.

Any modification or improvement to existing services, as well as the introduction of new services, will automatically be governed by these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to the client.

Privacy and Security.

French Tax Advisor is committed to respecting users’ privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of personal data provided by clients. Client information will not be sold or disclosed to third parties.

All private and confidential data is stored on a dedicated server protected by secure access and hosted in a secure environment.

Liability.

The client remains solely responsible for the content of their tax returns. French Tax Advisor cannot be held liable for incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.

Please note that the French tax system operates on the principle of self-declaration (supporting documents are not required at the time of submission). However, clients must retain their records for at least three years, including documentation supporting the amounts declared, in the event of a dispute with the French tax authorities.

Information provided regarding French taxes is for general informational purposes only. French Tax Advisor cannot be held responsible for errors or for different interpretations depending on the client’s individual circumstances.

French Tax Advisor shall not be liable for service interruptions. Access to services may be suspended without prior notice due to maintenance or technical issues.

Termination

Clients may request the deletion of their data from the database at any time. However, a complete copy of their file will be retained for accounting and record-keeping purposes.
